Flank Marinade

I've been meaning to post this for quite some time, since I've had so many requests for this recipe. It's an absolutely fabulous marinade for flank, making it incredibly tender, moist and flavorful. 

1/3 cup oil
1/3 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons onion, minced
3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Combine all ingredients. Marinate flank in a large Ziplock bag overnight (between 18 to 20 hours), turning occasionally. Barbecue. Cut against the grain into thin slices.

**It's very important that the flank marinates overnight. Don't skimp or try to speed up the process by shortening the marinade time.

We love to use our leftover flank for taco meat or stir fry the next night.
